Where permitted by applicable law, we may use contact information to send relevant news, educational content, service information or marketing communications. Where consent is required, we will request it. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Depending on the circumstances, our legal basis for processing may be: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or performing a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; our legitimate interests in operating, protecting and improving our business and services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests; or your consent, where consent is required.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate our website, communicate with clients, deliver services and manage our business.
These may include providers of: CRM, forms, funnels, automation and communication services, including HighLevel (GoHighLevel); website hosting and technical infrastructure; email and communication services; scheduling and video-conferencing tools; analytics and advertising technologies; payment processing; accounting and administrative systems; cloud storage and file-sharing services; social media platforms;
and AI and other software tools used to support our services.
Depending on the circumstances, these providers may process personal data on our behalf or act as independent data controllers.
We disclose personal data to service providers only where reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and use appropriate contractual, technical and organisational safeguards where required by applicable law.
HighLevel and Client Platform Services
My Rising Jungle uses HighLevel (https://www.gohighlevel.com) as part of its CRM, forms, funnels, automation, communication and client-service infrastructure. Certain clients may also receive access to functionality provided through our HighLevel environment as part of an agreed service. Depending on the circumstances, personal data within a client's system may be processed by My Rising Jungle on behalf of that client. Responsibilities relating to such processing may be further defined in the applicable service agreement or data processing agreement where required.
HighLevel describes its role for customer-uploaded personal data as that of a processor and provides contractual mechanisms for international data transfers in its Data Processing Agreement.
5. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies, such as pixels, local storage and analytics tools, to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website usage, measure performance and, where applicable, support marketing activities. Some cookies and technologies are strictly necessary for the website to function. Other technologies, including analytics, advertising or marketing technologies, will only be used where permitted by applicable law and, where required, after you have provided your consent.
You can manage or withdraw your cookie preferences through the cookie consent tools available on our website.
More detailed information about the cookies and tracking technologies used on our website, their purposes, providers and duration is available in our Cookie Policy.
6. International Data Transfers
My Rising Jungle is based in Belgium, but some third-party service providers we use operate internationally or may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we take appropriate steps where required by applicable data protection law to ensure that the data receives an adequate level of protection.
Depending on the circumstances, these safeguards may include European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms or safeguards.
You may contact us if you would like further information about safeguards applicable to international transfers of your personal data.
7. How Long We Keep Personal Data
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing our services, managing our business relationship and complying with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and our relationship with you. For example, we may retain: enquiry and prospective-client information for a reasonable period to manage and follow up on enquiries; client and project information for the duration of our working relationship and for an appropriate period afterwards; contractual, invoicing and accounting information for the period required by applicable law; marketing information until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis, or the information is no longer reasonably required for the relevant purpose; and quiz and assessment information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the result, follow up where appropriate and maintain relevant business records.
When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or otherwise securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
This approach reflects the GDPR principles of data minimisation and storage limitation.
8. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Access to personal data is limited to persons and service providers who reasonably require it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
While we take reasonable steps to protect personal data, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have the right to: request access to personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data; request deletion of your personal data; request restriction of certain processing;
object to certain processing, including direct marketing; request portability of certain personal data; withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal; and exercise applicable rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to conditions or exceptions under applicable law. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before responding to a request. Under the GDPR, requests generally must be handled without undue delay and normally within one month.
10. AI, Quizzes and Automated Results
Some My Rising Jungle tools, quizzes or assessments may use automated rules, scoring or AI-supported technologies to generate informational results based on information you provide.
For example, our AI & Automation Quiz may calculate scores across different areas of your business and provide corresponding observations or recommendations.
These results are intended for informational and business-guidance purposes. They are not intended to constitute legal, financial or other regulated professional advice and are not used by My Rising Jungle to make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.
Where AI-supported tools are used in providing our services, their use may depend on the particular service or project and may involve third-party technology providers as described in this Privacy Policy.
GDPR gives particular protections regarding solely automated decisions that significantly affect individuals; our quiz is not intended to operate in that manner.
11. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we process your personal data, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to address your concerns. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. As My Rising Jungle is operated from Belgium, you may contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données). Depending on the circumstances, you may also have the right to contact another competent supervisory authority.
12. External Links and Third-Party Websites
Our website and communications may contain links to websites, platforms or services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security or content of third-party websites or services that we do not control. We encourage you to review their privacy information before providing personal data to them.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technologies, business practices or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on this page together with the date it was last updated. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent regarding material changes to how personal data is processed.
